Daud's Hideout

​

  • This mission can be done quickly. If you wish, skip all optional objectives (freeing your assassins) and just take care of Hume and his invasion plans.

  • Climb up the chain to the top floor. Sneak around the first group of Overseers and loot the chest with Daud's key.

  • Go to the end of the hallway and climb atop the tall bookcase. Wait until the three Overseers are together, then toss a chokedust grenade. Run or blink to and free the First Assassin, then quickly run or blink back out.

    • alternatively, use Bend Time: either way, ignore the bone charm in this room: you'll have time to get it later

  • Go through the open window into the yard. Climb up to second floor. Enter the large room with Overseer Hume. Hug the left wall and climb on the low bookcase, hiding behind the big one. Save your game.

  • Use Bend Time and quickly blink to Hume. Choke him, pick up his body, and blink out the window. Stash his body among the ruins way down below on the street, where it won't be found.

    • ZRP. You can steal the letter from Hume's belt by sneaking behind him and hiding under the table, although it's very tricky to then get out of this room via the window.

  • Make your way back up the ruined building, taking care to avoid the stairs, which are crawling with Overseers. Free the Second Assassin with the same method (either Bend Time or chokedust).

  • Jump back down to street level, in front of the statue of the Empress. Climb up and around the low ruined building, taking care to avoid patrols looking down at you from up high.

  • Use the usual methods to free the Third Assassin.

  • Walk to the submerged inner courtyard and free the Fourth Assassin.

    • ​Special Action: Rescued All Your Assassins

  • Blink or climb up to the open window and walk into the room with the mattress. From the other window, blink up to the walkway when there are no Overseers.

  • There's a window that looks into the room with the invasion plans, but it's too heavily guarded, so either use Bend Time, jump downstairs, get the Invasion Plans, and leave through the open window on the lower floor; or distract the Overseers on the second floor with a bolt, then do the same as above.

  • Climb up to the large derelict building in the center of the plaza and regroup with Billie Lurk and your assassins. Instruct them to capture the Overseers.

  • Take your time looting the level undisturbed, using Void Gaze to find two runes (1-2/2) and three bone charms (1-3/3). There is no money in this mission.

  • I suggest that you do not purchase any power with the runes you have: save them for the beginning of the next DLC, The Brigmore Witches.

  • For continuity with Dishonored 2, I suggest you don't kill Billie.
