Part Ten
Possible Endings

PERDITION: the "destroy" ending
![Prey-10-perdition1.jfif](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/29ff18_0d5e3a491c6d47bc9e4d72869b63d8d3~mv2.jpg/v1/crop/x_0,y_0,w_1057,h_648/fill/w_400,h_245,al_c,q_80,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/Prey-10-perdition1_jfif.jpg)
-
This ending requires destroying Talos I, the typhon, and some human survivors, possibly including Morgan.
-
Morgan's Arming Key is obtained at the end of the "Reboot" objective: see the guide here.
-
Alex's Arming Key is obtained from Alex himself at the end of "Before I Give You the Key": see the guide here.
-
Once you have both keys, go to the Power Plant. If going from the Arboretum, you have to take the elevator down to Life Support and then enter the Power Plant.
-
Typhon have respawned throughout on Talos I, so you'll have to fight through these areas again. Typically, a lower number of high-ranked typhon appear at this time.
-
Insert Morgan's and Alex's keys in their slots under the reaction core, and turn them both.
-
Go all the way back to the Bridge, where you find Alex and January arguing by the terminal in the captain's nest.
-
To complete the objective, stun or kill Alex and execute the self-destruct sequence on the terminal as January says.

-
You have two options:
-
Take a seat on the captain's chair. This ends the game immediately.
-
Run to the Shuttle Bay to escape in the shuttle. This is only available if you completed all the steps in the "Incapacitate Dahl" objective; see the guide here.
-
Whether or not you escape makes no difference, and Talos I is destroyed. Enjoy the big reveal...

A MIND WITHOUT LIMITS: the "control" ending
![Prey-10-mind1.jfif](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/29ff18_e699841d8029487387b68a435cfe0300~mv2.jpg/v1/crop/x_0,y_23,w_1152,h_625/fill/w_400,h_217,al_c,q_80,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/Prey-10-mind1_jfif.jpg)
-
This ending requires killing the typhon but saving Talos I, and Morgan survives.
-
Fabricate the Advanced Nullwave Device with the fab plan you got from Alex: see the guide here.
-
Go to Psychotronics, which has more typhon than other levels at this time, so you must fight your way through.
-
Place the device at the heart of the coral, on the Kletka probe in the center of the area, where the Weaver was.
-
Go all the way back to the Bridge, where you find Alex and January arguing by the terminal on the lower floor.
-
To complete the objective, destroy January or wait until Alex does so for you, then activate the nullwave device on the terminal. The game ends. Enjoy the big reveal...
-
If you both placed the nullwave device and turned the two arming keys, this terminal frizzes out and you can't activate the device. In that case, the "Perdition" objective effectively overrules "A Mind without Limits."

WHO IS DECEMBER?: the "escape" ending

-
This ending requires escaping Talos I via Alex's escape pod, and Morgan survives.
-
This can be done anytime after securing the EP101 Keycard from Alex's suite in Crew Quarter.
-
This results in an immediate failing and restarting of the game, so it is effectively a "permadeath" option.
-
This is so even if Morgan uses EP101 to escape after initiating the Talos I self-destruct...
-
-
Watch the brief final cutscene, which is different depending on your chosen ending.
-
The end titles sequence depicts the initial typhon outbreak on Talos I.
-
The real ending, of course, is after the end titles. Enjoy the big reveal...
