This guide has four objectives:
Get "straight zeros" in every mission: no kills, no detections, no bodies found.
Maintain a "low chaos" rating throughout the game.
Collect all runes, bone charms, paintings, and blueprints.
Fulfill all mandatory and optional objectives, including side quests.
I play as Emily on Very Hard difficulty. Playing as Corvo is similar, though his Bend Time and Possession open up some stealth possibilities that Emily lacks; however, her Domino is the single most useful power in the game.
I do not consider New Game+ scenarios where your character may have a blend of powers and all blueprints from the start. In theory, Corvo's Bend Time and Possession joined with Emily's Domino and Mesmerize make for the perfect stealth character, which may allow you to simplify or even skip some of the steps described in this guide.
Tips for "No Powers" mode are included as needed. The guide is substantially similar, but some collectibles are inaccessible without powers and more careful stealth is required.

Wherein our hero squares off with a demonic witch coven in an ancient museum.
Chapter 6: DUST DISTRICT
Wherein our hero descends in the soiled underbelly of the silver mining industry.
Chapter 7: A CRACK IN THE SLAB
Wherein our hero travels across time to prevent a fatal mistake and reshape the future.
Chapter 8: THE GRAND PALACE
Wherein our hero strikes at the heart of the tyranny with a daring assassination attempt.
Chapter 9: DEATH TO THE EMPRESS
Wherein our hero returns to the homeland to reclaim the throne from the usurper witch.
